Flower Soy Candle Workshop

- Soy wax -
Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from - you guessed it - soybeans.
It burns slower than paraffin wax, meaning you’ll get a candle that lasts longer.
It also burns cleaner and leaves less soot than paraffin.
Soy is also an excellent carrier of fragrance, ensuring a well-balanced, true-to-scent candle.
Make your own soy candle using custom scent and preserved flowers.
Whether a seasoned artisan or a budding enthusiast, this workshop offers something for everyone interested in learning the craft of candle making.

What to expect
This class will open up for you the amazing array of possibilities that exist in your pursuit to create beautiful, functional, and sweet smelling candles.
Attendees will start with learning about the functionalities of natural soy candle and its benefits on our health and the Earth.
Each will then choose their own scent with certain effects when using the candle.
They will start by heating the wax, then blending of the oils, and finish with decorating their own 200ml candle with hand-prepared dried flowers to take home.
Each workshop participant will have their own blending equipment, mixing jug, whisk, glassware and assortment of dried flowers provided. No prior experience of candle making is necessary.
(You can create 1 flower soy candle during the session)
